My first attempt at shooting a minimalist image. I’m attracted by the clean images and strong compositions that they normally have.

This was taken just after sunset at a beach, camera securely mounted on a tripod, with an exposure of 30seconds, and surviving the mosquitos!!


I do like the square crop as it gives a structured composition to the image.

Strolling along the beaches in Penang, I was waiting for the sun to set to take a photo of the horizon reaching out over the sea. It was a bit overcast on that day and the sun didn’t come out to play. This image was captured in a brief moment as the sun cast some shadows over what clouds there were in the the sky.

I am always drawn to this interesting part of Kuala Lumpur. This time I captured some images from the Hindu Temple that is just off Petaling Street.
