Yashica Electro 35 GSN

This model dates back to 1973 and I have found out that it takes awesome photos.

It operates in aperture priority mode and has the famous “traffic lights” to indicate either a shutter speed of more than 1/500 or slower than 1/30. The aperture is adjustable from f1.7 to sunny 16 🙂

All you need to do is work on your composition, focus and then adjust the aperture accordingly.

Photos are sharp for such an old camera and has some sort of magic metering that seems to get it just right!  The lens is a 45mm f1.7 and it has a cool clockwork selftimer that just makes me smile when it’s activated 🙂
